+2 mechanikal melee weapon v1
Here at the Union we pride our selves on making the best schematics exclusively for our union workers. This schematic may be a bit more challenging, but is designed to save you a little gold. Now keep in mind this may take a bit longer and cost a lot more than than expected if done improperly.

Not to nitpick, but I suspect that the second “series conduit” should be replaced by the normal conduit for a +2 weapon (cost-to-make 1,800gp + 144xp) instead, as the final assembly an fusion of a mechanikal weapon should reflect the total effective bonus of the item.
Also, it may be appropriate to not include the cost of schematics in the final market value, as it is quite possible for the same mechanik to make multiple copies from the same plans. Perhaps this is where the creator gets his “wiggle room” to haggle with?

it does. 1+1=2(rune plate), 1+1=2(conduits).

You only need one series conduit to link the two plates together. Look at the examples int he IKCG Specifically you can check out the example on page 332 for the flameguard plate, it has 2 +1 enhancement runeplates and only has one series conduit. If you don’t like that example for what it says, then check out the expanded example on page 377.

sorry about the wait i was in b/w jobs. ok i see your point. it is changed. people kept saying i was wrong but never had a good example. when i checked the books i never checked p377. that was the kicker. but just a question where did they get 177xp for a conduit(3 plates)? cause in the LM it says a conduit(3 plates) is 281 wich would cause soul drain.thanks. i\’ll get to other one when i\’m off next.
