Natterevoganhegan’s Ship Shocker

Trouble with sea life? Need to keep unwanted guests off your boat? Natterevoganhegan’s Ship Shocker is the answer! By utilizing a cunningly-designed system of copper fittings and a small mechanikal device, the Ship Shocker can ensure any unprotected visitors will be notified that they’re not welcome aboard your vessel. By installing this simple system, an electrical bolt is sent blazing through a complex series of copper settings hammered into your ship’s deck. Thanks to the cunning design, anyone (or anything) that steps onto the deck will bridge the circuit, sending a jolt of lightning through their body along with a powerful warning that next time, ask permission to board!

Warning: Natterevoganhegan’s Ship Shocker does not discriminate. Make sure you and your crew are properly protected with Natterevoghan’s Shock-Proof Boots & Naval Gear. Natterevoganhegan is not responsible for failure to warn passengers, crew, or visiting foreign dignitaries prior to the activation of the Ship Shocker.

The Ship Shocker combines a simple Arcantrik Convergence Engine, a Shocking Grasp Rune Plate, an Elemental Emitter, and a Light Stormchamber to create a constant electrical charge that’s funneled via conduit into a network of copper fittings. Anyone stepping on the copper fittings will be subject to the shocking grasp spell effect every round until they move off the fittings. Resistance and spell resistance applies as per normal. Depending upon the rune plate spell level, damage and cost is variable.
