Cardamom Crisps

1 cup flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cardamom
1 egg
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted

Place oven rack in middle and preheat to 350F.
Grease and flour a baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and cardamom.
In a large bowl, whisk the egg until frothy.
While whisking, gradually add the sugar. Whisk until the mixture is consistent.
While whisking slowly add the butter. Whisk until the mixture is consistent.
With a spoon, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Spoon a level teaspoons onto the baking sheet spaced two inches apart.
Bake for 7-10 minutes, until browning on the edges.
