1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 tbsp. dry yeast
1 tbsp. light brown sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
2 tbsp. olive oil
Combine the yeast, water, and brown sugar. Let sit for at least ten minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together the flour and salt.
Lightly beat the egg and add the oilive oil and then add them to the yeast mixture.
Form a well in the flour, pour in the egg and yeast mixture.
Mix until a small ball of dough gathers and place it on a lightly floured surface.
Knead, by hand, for ten minutes.
Place the dough back in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise for one hour.
Roll out the dough (about 1/8 inch thick) and place on a pan
Add the desired toppings and tehn bake at 375F for about 10-15 minutes.
