Jen’s Tea Biscuits

2 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar
1/2 cup cold butter
1 cup cold milk

Mix the first five ingredients and stir thoughly.
Cut in the butter til crumbly.
Pour in milk, stir quickly.
Knead gently 8-10 times on a floured surface.
Roll out 3/4 inch thick.
Cut into shapes.
Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes.
